North Sea Crude-Forties hits 5-month high as Shell raises bids on all grades

LONDON, Feb 1 (Reuters) - Royal Dutch Shell raised bids on
all North Sea crude oil differentials on Monday during the
trading window in which Shell also bought five cargoes, an
unusually active session, which one market participant described
as "punchy".

The Forties grade hit its highest in five months and Troll
in four and a half months.

PLATTS WINDOW

* Indications are on a free-on-board (FOB) basis unless
marked as cost, insurance and freight (CIF).

* Brent: Trafigura sold to Shell cif Rotterdam at dated
Brent plus 85 cents for Feb. 13-17 loading. In fob terms, based
on Reuters calculations, this equates to plus 2 cents.

* Oseberg: Petroineos sold to Shell cif Rotterdam at dated
Brent plus $1.15 for Feb. 14-18 loading. In fob terms, based on
Reuters calculations, this equates to plus 62 cents.

* Forties: Mercuria sold to Shell cif Rotterdam at dated
Brent plus 80 cents for Feb. 16-20 loading. In fob terms, based
on Reuters calculations, this equates to plus 23 cents.

* Ekofisk: Mercuria sold to Shell at dated Brent plus 65
cents for Feb. 21-23 loading.

* Ekofisk: Trafigura sold to Shell at dated Brent plus 70
cents for Feb. 23-25 loading.

OUTSTANDING BIDS AND OFFERS

* Brent: Shell bid cif Rotterdam at dated Brent plus $1.30
for Feb. 23-27 loading. In fob terms, based on Reuters
calculations, this equates to plus 47 cents.

* Ekofisk: Shell bids cif Rotterdam at dated Brent plus 85
cents for Feb. 24-28 loading. In fob terms, based on Reuters
calculations, this equates to plus 40 cents.

* Forties: Shell bids at dated Brent plus 55 cents for Feb.
17-19 loading.

* Oseberg: Shell bids at dated Brent plus 65 cents for Feb.
13-15 loading.

* Forties: Shell bids at dated Brent plus 55 cents for Feb.
25-27 loading.

* Ekofisk: Shell bids at dated Brent plus 65 cents for Feb.
