North Sea Crude-Forties, Brent strengthen as bids flood in

LONDON, July 23 (Reuters) - The North Sea Forties, Brent andEkofisk differentials strengthened on Monday because of a floodof higher bids which were not met by any offers.

* Strike action has begun at Total's North Sea oil and gasplatforms, but any impact on crude production is expected to bemitigated by stored oil.

* Other UK North Sea oil strikes are looming as unions pushfor better pay for offshore oil workers.
