Motive TV wins court case

Tue, 04th Dec 2012 07:27

Digital technology firm Motive Television said it had won a battle over share rights in a spat with a former employee. The company said the High Court had ruled against Andre Vanyi-Robin, who claimed he was owed around £183,000 after not receiving Motive shares that should have been issued to him.The former Barcelona employee had said this was payment for the purchase of his shares in Adecq S. L. (now called Motive Television S.L.). However, the court rejected the claim and awarded costs against him.Vanyi-Robin is now appealing against the judgment but Motive said it was confident the appeal would be dismissed."Most of Mr Vanyi-Robin's other claims against the company relate to his dismissal for gross misconduct," the company added."The company believes these claims have no foundation and will continue to contest them with the utmost vigour."
