Moneysupermarket.com revenue growth stalls

(ShareCast News) - Financial services comparison website Moneysupermarket.com said revenue growth had slowed as expected.In a trading statement the company said revenue increased by 18% in the first half of the year, but only by 10% in the second quarter.Group revenue for the second quarter was £67.2m, while for the half year it was £143.9m pounds.The FTSE 250 listed company highlighted insurance as a key driver and said there was a marginal increase in car insurance premiums."Money delivered ongoing growth from a highly competitive credit card market, and some competition in the current account market with providers offering attractive switching incentives," the company said in a statement.At 08:02 BST shares in Moneysupermarket.com were up 2.03% to 296p.
