Millennium & Copthorne appoints new CFO

FTSE-250 hotels group Millennium & Copthorne announced it has appointed Andrew Cherry as interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO).Cherry was recently CFO at GLH Hotels, formerly Thistle Hotels, in London, prior to which he acted as group Finance Director at power products provider Volex. Cherry will be responsible for financial and risk management, treasury, accounting, reporting, tax and investor relations.As of 14:50, the share price had risen 0.35% to 571.5p.WS
