Metal Tiger notes intersections at Kalahari Copper Belt

(ShareCast News) - Metal Tiger said latest drill-programme results from its Kalahari Copper Belt joint venture in Botswana continue to show wide intersections of mineralisation, up to 42m in hole MO-G-28D.Chief executive Paul Johnston said that as the drilling element of the work was almost over, assays were being sent to the independent resource consultant.The JV project -- 30% Metal Tiger and 70% ASX-listed MOD Resources -- was on schedule to deliver a robust maiden resource estimate at the end of September, Johnston said.He added that the end of the resource drilling at T3 would not signify a lull in activity for the field teams."With the completion of the Phase 1 drill programme, the exploration team will have the time to follow-up targets in the wider T3 area, on the T3 Dome," Johnston said.Meantime, reverse-circulation drilling continued apace, 20km north of T3, on the new, shallow, T2 West copper discovery. Metal Tiger said it would update on this in the "near future".
