LONDON (Alliance News) - Life insurer and investment manager Legal & General Group PLC on Tuesday said it has signed a five-year general insurance distribution deal with Skipton Building Society.
Under the agreement, Skipton customers will be able to buy buildings and contents insurance from L&G online, via phone or in branch.
"It's great news Skipton Building Society has chosen us as their general insurance partner, and I look forward to providing their customers with great value general insurance products and excellent customer service," said L&G Insurance Partnerships Managing Director Mark Holweger.
Shares in L&G were up 0.5% at 213.90 pence Tuesday.
