(Alliance News) - John Wood Group PLC on Thursday said it has appointed former AP Moller - Maersk A/S executive Birgitte Madsen as a non-executive director, effective March 1.
Birgitte, who was appointed following an external recruitment process, currently serves on the boards of Danish contracting company, Arkil Holding A/S and Danish fund companies Investeringsforeningen Danske Invest and Investeringsforeningen
Danske Invest Select.
She previously held executive positions as chief technical officer with Maersk FPSO's, a unit of logistics company AP Moller - Maersk, and as director of the Energy & Industry business of Danish engineering consultancy COWI A/S.
Shares in the Scottish energy services company closed at 398.10 pence each, up 7.6%, on Thursday in London.
