Ireland plans budget deficit of 5.7% in 2021

DUBLIN, Oct 13 (Reuters) - Ireland is planning a budget
deficit of 5.7% next year, down from the 6.2% currently forecast
for this year, Finance Minister Paschal Donohoe told parliament
on Tuesday in his annual budget speech.

"A deficit of 21.5 billion euros, or 6.2% is currently
projected for 2020," Donohoe said. "Budget 2021 forecasts a
deficit of 20.5 billion euros or 5.7%."
