W Resources PLC - tungsten, tin and gold mining and exploring in Spain and Portugal - Pablo Neira, an executive director of W Resources and the managing director of Spanish subsidiary Iberian Resources Spain SL, will leave the company on Monday next week "to pursue an opportunity outside the mining industry managing a Spanish private fund based in Madrid". Says currently interviewing potential candidates to replace Neira. Says management team have taken over some operational responsibilities in the meantime to ensure the La Parrilla mine hits its production targets in coming months.
Separately, hires Ismael Cabanillas Verde as non-executive director, starting immediately. He was general manager at Sistemas de Automatismo y Control SA, a subsidiary of Grupo Joca, a civil construction firm in southwest Spain.
