Vast Resources PLC - miner with projects in Romania and Zimbabwe - On Thursday said it raised around GBP1.4 million through a placing of 54 million shares at a placing price of 2.5p per share. The placing price represents a discount of 35% from Wednesday's closing price of 3.85p. Also on Thursday, company reports annual results for year ended April 30. Posts revenue of USD896,000, against none in prior year. Pretax loss narrows to USD7.7 million, from USD8.3 million.
