Silverwood Brands PLC - investing company targeting food, organic food, wellness, lifestyle and leisure sectors - Plans initial public offering on Aquis Stock Exchange in November, having already raised about GBP1 million in pre-IPO subscriptions. VSA Capital Ltd is corporate adviser and broker for the listing. Angus Thirlwell, co-founder & chief executive officer of AIM-listed chocolate maker and retailer Hotel Chocolat Group PLC is an advisor to Silverwood, which was founded by Andrew Gerrie, the non-executive chair of Hotel Chocolat and the co-founder of cosmetics retailer Lush Ltd. Silverwood says its strategy is to buy significant stakes in target companies using cash and shares and to help these brands to scale their product offerings.
