Strix Group PLC - Isle of Man-based kettle safety controls provider - Says it expects to report an improved trading performance and can confirm that profit after tax for the full year remains in line with market expectations. Current profit after tax consensus for 2023 is GBP25.8 million. For 2022, profit after tax was GBP23.0 million. Continues to receive increased frequency of orders from customers.
Chief Executive Officer Mark Bartlett says: "We are continuing to receive increased frequency of orders from customers, albeit with smaller quantities as they manage their cash balances prudently."
Back in March, the company said its 2022 pretax profit fell by 31% to GBP16.1 million from GBP21.5 million last year, while revenue fell by 11% to GBP106.9 million from GBP119.4 million.
