SolGold PLC - the Australian miner - Notes the announcement by Cornerstone Capital Resources Inc - SolGold's 7.6% shareholder - of its intention to requisition a general meeting of SolGold shareholders. Cornerstone's stated intention to requisition the general meeting is the replacement of the board of directors of SolGold, including Chair Brian Moller, Chief Executive Nicholas Mather, Executive Director Jason Ward and non-Executive Directors Robert Weinberg, James Clare and Liam Twigger. SolGold also noted that Cornerstone has not proposed any replacement directors as part of its stated intention to requisition a general meeting. At this time, SolGold confirmed it has not received any such requisition from Cornerstone but said it will update the market in due course, as required, if and when a valid requisition is received.
