Robinson PLC - Chesterfield-based plastic and paperboard packaging manufacturer - For 2020, expects revenue of GBP37 million, up 5.4% from GBP35.1 million recorded for 2019. Adds its anticipates pretax profit to be ahead of current market expectations as well as ahead of 2019.
Pretax profit for 2019 was GBP1.5 million. Notes subject to any negative impact of Covid-19, it intends to pay a total dividend of 8.5 pence, up sharply from 2.5p paid for 2019.
Says Guy Robinson stepped down as finance director on January 1, succeeded by existing executive board Director Mike Cusick. Robinson will remain executive director until May. Promotes Non-Executive Director Sara Halton to senior independent director.
Robinson will publish full results for 2020 on March 25.
