IN BRIEF: IQ-AI unit gets USD3 million award to boost CAD development

IQ-AI Ltd - - Says subsidiary Imaging Biometrics LLC has received another award from the US National Cancer Institute of USD3 million. The award is the third received within a two year period. Imaging Biometrics will use the funds to accelerate the development and commercialisation of its CAD. CAD combines multi-parameter magnetic resonance data and artificial intelligence technology to identify areas of infiltrating brain tumour cells in non-contrast enhancing regions.

Trevor Brown, IQ-AI chief executive says: "We continue to advance the field in brain tumour imaging and understanding. This grant underscores the scientific merits of the technology and helps pave the way towards commercialisation."

Current stock price: 7.65 pence, down 1.3% on Tuesday

Year-to-date change: down 25%
