IN BRIEF: Fidelity China annual net asset value rises; lifts dividend

Fidelity China Special Situations PLC - China-focused investment trust - Total net asset value per share as at March 31 stands at 274.08 pence, up from 272.52p on the same date a year earlier. NAV return for the year ended on March 31 is 2.6%, outperforming the MSCI China index, which returns 1.4%. Declares a dividend of 6.25 pence per share for financial 2023, up 14% from 5.50p a year prior. Looking ahead, says GDP growth is forecast to come back in line with longer-term trends at above 5% in 2023.

Current stock price: 217.72 pence each, down 0.8% on Thursday morning in London

12-month change: down 21%
