Canadian Overseas Petroleum Ltd - sub-Saharan Africa-focused oil and gas explorer - Notes 50% owner joint-venture company Shoreline Canadian Overseas Petroleum Development Corp and Essar Exploration & Production Ltd agree to extend backstop date to conclude documentation to settle a dispute. Dispute relates to ShoreCan and Essar's obligations under the Essar Exploration & Production Ltd agreement in Nigeria. Bakstop date extended to August 4.
