Applegreen PLC - operator of petrol stations and motorway stops in Ireland - Irish High Court approves Causeway Consortium Ltd's EUR718.1 million takeover of Applegreen first announced in December 2020. Causeway Consortium is owned by Blackstone Infrastructure Partners managed by Blackstone Group Inc, and B&J Holdings Ltd. B&J, in turn, is wholly owned by Applegreen founders Robert Etchingham and Joseph Barrett, and already owns 41% of Applegreen. Says shares will be suspended from trading on Wednesday and share cancellation on AIM and Euronext Growth will take place on Thursday.
