Imagination Technology signs agreement for IP

Imagination Technologies Group, the system-on-chip intellectual property (IP) developer, has signed a licence agreement with HiSilicon Technologies, covering multiple PowerVR multimedia IP cores from Imagination, including graphics, video and display technologies. Under the agreement HiSilicon has licensed a member of the PowerVR Series6 'Rogue' GPU graphics family and will deploy Imagination's technology in system-on-chips (SoCs) targeting the mobile and consumer markets. Under the terms of its arrangements, Imagination receives licence fees and royalty revenues on SoCs incorporating Imagination's IP. NR
