IAG Group Traffic Flies Higher In June

LONDON (Alliance News) - International Consolidated Airlines Group Friday said its group traffic, measured in revenue passenger kilometres, increased 6.7% in June on the same month of the year before.

The company said that group capacity rose by 5.4% in June year-on-year. Group premium traffic grew by 5.3%.

It carried 7.8 million passengers in the month compared with 7.1 million in June 2014.

Its passenger load factor increased to 83.7% from 82.7%.

Shares in IAG were trading down 0.3% at 487.60 pence Friday afternoon.
