(Alliance News) - Howden Joinery Group PLC said Friday it has appointed Louise Fowler as non-executive director effective immediately.
The kitchen and joinery products supplier said Fowler will be a member of the audit and remuneration committees and will also become a member of the nominations committee after completing of a formal induction programme.
Fowler, who is currently a non-executive director of Assura PLC, has over 25 years of marketing, customer and digital experience and was a non-executive director at Benenden Health, Stockport Hydro Ltd and Britannia International.
Howden Joinery also announced that Mark Allen, who has served as non-executive director since 2011, and is a member of remuneration, audit and nominations committees, will retire from board on December 1.
Howden Joinery shares were up 0.7% in London at 581.40 pence each on Friday at midday.
