Highland Gold Mining production up 14% in first half

Highland Gold Mining's total production of gold and gold equivalents rose 13.7% in the first half of 2014.The firm maintained its full-year production guidance at 300,000 ounces of gold and gold equivalents, after production in the first half rose to 120,121 ounces. This includes the combined contribution from the Mnogovershinnoye Novoshirokinskoye and Belaya Gora mines.As of 14:14 the share price had dropped 0.5p to 68.5p.WS
