(Alliance News) - Investment products provider Hansard Global PLC on Wednesday said that it has appointed Philip Kay as an independent non-executive director, effective from Tuesday.
Kay a director of three Asian investment funds: Fidelity Japan Trust PLC, the Akamatsu Bonsai Fund and the CQS Asian Macro Fund. He is also a director of Fidelity Japan PLC. He has had a long career in investment banking and investment management, Hansard Global said.
Philip Gregory, chair of Hansard Global, said: "I welcome Philip to the board and congratulate him on his appointment. His experience and expertise will be invaluable at this pivotal time in the group's strategic growth."
Shares in Hansard Global closed up 3.5% at 44.00 pence each in London on Wednesday afternoon.
