(Alliance News) - Global Smaller Cos Trust PLC on Wednesday said Chair Anja Balfour will temporarily step down from her role with immediate effect due to medical reasons.
The London-based investment trust said Balfour is expected to return to her role in the New Year.
In the meantime, Global Smaller Cos said Graham Oldroyd will serve as interim chair.
Oldroyd is a non-executive director of Global Smaller Cos and is also the current chair for Ideal Standard International NV.
It also added that Director David Stileman will remain in his role until December 11.
Shares in were up 0.8% at 136.45 pence each in London on Wednesday morning.
