Gaming Realms appoints Real Networks' executive as new Director

Online gaming applications group Gaming Realms announced it has appointed Atul Bali, president of RealNetworks' games division, as a non-executive director of the company.Bali, who will assume the role with immediate effect, has held a number of senior positions in the gaming industry. He entered the online gaming sector in 1997 with GTECH, where he undertook several senior roles, including president and Chief Executive Officer of the company's iGaming division, GTECH G2, Bali currently oversees online, mobile and social games development.Chairman Michael Buckley said: "He is one of the very few executives with deep experience in land, online and social based games and lotteries on all platforms. "His broad regulatory knowledge and worldwide experience in JVs and M&A will bring a unique perspective to Gaming Realms as it expands in the future."As of 10:39, the share price was flat at 20.25p.WS
