Wed, 09th Dec 2020 10:59

(Alliance News) - First Derivatives PLC on Wednesday said it has promoted Ryan Preston to chief financial officer from deputy financial officer as current CFO Graham Ferguson is due to step down on January 1, 2021.

Ferguson, who joined the UK-based software company in 2008, will continue as a full-time employee until June 30, 2021 to ensure the transition is successful. He said he is leaving to devote more time to providing consulting services to Northern Ireland-based small and medium-sized enterprises.

Preston became deputy CFO of First Derivatives in January and previously worked as CFO at Independent News & Media PLC and OVO Energy Retail Ltd, and as group finance director of Europe at Tesco PLC.

Shares in First Derivatives were trading flat at 2,920.00 pence in London on Wednesday.
