EXECUTIVE CHANGES: RBG adds Ian Rosenblatt to board; new Tracsis chair

Mon, 31st Jul 2023 12:04

(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Monday and late last week and not separately reported by Alliance News:

----------

RBG Holdings PLC - London-based legal and professional services - Makes Ian Rosenblatt an executive director and vice chair of the board with a focus on strategy. Rosenblatt founded law firm Rosenblatt in 1989. This is now one of the three divisions of RBG, together with legal services business Memery Crystal and boutique investment bank Convex Capital. Rosenblatt is RBG's largest shareholder and individual revenue generator, RBG notes. The company will pay Rosenblatt GBP2.5 million in monthly instalments over the next five years to extend his restrictive covenants. There are no other changes to his compensation. RBG still intends to recruit an additional independent non-executive director. "RBG Holdings lost focus and direction under the previous executive management team," Rosenblatt says. "Now with the disposal of LionFish and the significant overhang on our share register removed, I have absolute confidence we can return the group to a valuation that reflects its true potential." RBG completed the sale of Lionfish Litigation Finance Ltd to Blackmead Infrastructure Ltd for up to GBP3.1 million earlier this month.

----------

Tracsis PLC - Leeds, England-based traffic and transportation data services - Promotes Jill Easterbrook to chair from September 1, succeeding Chris Cole, who steps down at the end of his third three-year term. Easterbrook joined the Tracsis board as a non-executive director in October last year. She also serves as a non-executive director of Auto Trader Group PLC, Ashtead Group PLC and UP Global Sourcing Holdings PLC.

----------

Land Securities Group PLC - London-based commercial property developer - Senior Independent Director Edward Bonham Carter will retire from the board in 2024, having served as a director for over nine years. Landsec hires James Bowling, the former chief financial officer of water utility Severn Trent PLC, as independent non-executive director, starting on September 7. Bowling will replace Nicholas Cadbury as chair of the audit committee of the board, but Cadbury will remain on the board as a non-executive director. With Bonham Carter's planned departure, LandSec says it will recruit a additional new non-executive director.
