(Alliance News) - Energean Oil & Gas PLC on Thursday announced successful results from the production measurement of the Karish Main-02 development well in the Karish field, offshore Israel.
Karish Main-02 produced from a 25 metre interval of the C sand reservoir. It flowed at a maximum rate of 120 million standard cubic feet per day of natural gas, limited only by the capacity of the surface equipment.
Energaean said that performance modelling of the well confirmed it is capable of delivering at the 300 million cubic feet per day design capacity once it is connected to the floating production storage and offloading unit.
Shares in Energean Oil & Gas - which is based in London - were up 1.2% at 776.00 pence on Thursday.
