Healthcare software firm EMIS Group said that it finished 2013 with revenue and profit growth in line with expectations, as it continues to roll its patient-details software out to GP practices across the UK.The firm, which said it gained market share in each of its divisions last year, also gave a confident outlook for 2014.EMIS said that the Primary and Community Care division's ongoing roll-out of its EMIS Web software proceeded as planned with 3,327 GP practices now in England and Wales, up 1,692 from 2012.This represents 74% of EMIS's total GP estate in those countries, with the remaining practices having either placed an order or in the EMIS Web familiarisation service.EMIS' Community Pharmacy estate continued to grow during the period with preparations underway for the launch of new functionality linking pharmacies and GPs.In Secondary and Specialist Care, the integration of Ascribe and Digital Healthcare - acquired in the second half - is progressing well, the firm said.Chief Executive Chris Spencer said that EMIS "finished 2013 strongly" and is confident of making further progress in 2014 with current trading in line with expectations.The stock was 3.22% higher at 625p in early trading on Wednesday.BC
