EMED Mining gets final license to develop Rio Tinto copper mine

(ShareCast News) - EMED Mining has been awarded the final license required for it to begin mining activities at the Rio Tinto Copper project in Spain.Chief executive officer Alberto Lavandeira said: "The receipt of the licence is a major milestone for the company as it represents the final permit required to start building up production over the next few months, ahead of the originally anticipated target date of January 2016."EMED Mining is a European-based exploration and development company currently focused on bringing the Rio Tinto Copper Project in southern Spain back into production.At 10:16, shares were up 1.8% at 4.20p.
