DIRECTOR DEALINGS: Whitbread Unit Boss Jones And Associate Sell Shares

(Alliance News) - Whitbread PLC on Monday said Simon Jones, managing director of Premier Inn & Restaurants UK, and a person closely associated with him, both sold shares in the FTSE 100-listed hospitality company in two separate transactions on Friday.

Simon Jones disposed of 632 shares at a price of GBP48.02 each, worth GBP30,349, while his associate, Claire Jones, sold 2,368 shares at the same price, totalling GBP113,711.

The company did not disclose how many sharers, if any, Jones holds following these transactions.

Shares in Whitbread closed 1.2% higher on Monday in London at 4,876.00 pence each.
