Director dealings: Taylor Wimpey CEO makes share sale

(Sharecast News) - Taylor Wimpey revealed on Monday that chief executive Pete Redfern had disposed of 102,735 ordinary shares in the FTSE 100-listed housebuilder.
Redfern, who took over as CEO back in 2007, sold the shares on Friday at an average price of 108.10p each, for a total value of £111,056.53, after exercising options over 218,036 shares earlier in the day.

Back in July, analysts at Canaccord Genuity upgraded their recommendation for shares of Taylor Wimpey from 'hold' to 'buy' following share price falls and despite the group's "strong" balance sheet.

As of 1645 BST, Taylor Wimpey shares were down 5.07% at 99.96p.
