Nichols PLC - Merseyside-based soft drinks maker and owner of Vimto brand - Chief Executive Officer Andrew Milne purchases 1,723 shares at 1,159 pence each, GBP19,970 in total. Milne's resulting interest is 3,388 shares, a nominal stake in the company.

Devro PLC - Chryston, Scotland-based producer of collagen products such as sausage casings - Chief Financial Officer Rohan Cummings buys 20,843 shares at 190p each, GBP39,602 in total. Non-Executive Director Lesley Jackson buys 13,099 shares at 189.8p, GBP24,862 in total. Stakes following purchases were not disclosed.

Electra Private Equity PLC - London-based private equity investor - Non-Executive Director David Lis ups stake by 10,000 shares, across two transaction. Lis bought 5,000 shares at 333.02p each and another 5,000 at 319.36p apiece. Purchases total GBP32,619. Electra on Thursday noted Lis bought 15,000 shares at 335.18p and 331.02p, worth about GBP50,000.
