DIRECTOR DEALINGS: James Cropper Chair Buys GBP50,000 Worth Of Shares

(Alliance News) - James Cropper PLC said Thursday that Chair Mark Cropper acquired GBP49,997 worth of shares in a transaction on Wednesday.

Mark Cropper - chair of the paper and advanced materials maker since 2010 - acquired 4,464 shares at 1,120.00 pence each. Shares in James Cropper PLC were 0.8% higher at 1,124.00 pence on Thursday.

This transaction involved acquiring the shares from other members of the founding-family.

As a result of the transactions, Mark Cropper now has a beneficial holding of 1.8 million shares in the firm, valued at GBP20.6 million based on the share price on Thursday. This is equivalent to an 19.2% share in total outstanding capital.

Mark Cropper also has a non-beneficial interest in 559,571 shares, equivalent to a 5.9% holding.
