DeepMatter Appoints Executive Chair Warne As Chief Executive Officer

Mon, 11th Jun 2018 11:28

LONDON (Alliance News) - Chemical development digitisation firm DeepMatter Group PLC said Monday it will appoint current Executive Chairman Mark Warne as its chief executive officer from July 2.

Warne - chairman since April 2017 - will be replaced as non-executive chairman by James-Ede Golightly on a temporary basis until a permanent replacement is found.

"The increasing level of industry interest that DeepMatter is receiving makes it a particularly exciting time to be taking on the role of CEO," Warne said. "DeepMatter's core expertise in big data collection, structuring and analysis is applicable to many sectors, particularly the now rapidly growing Scientific Data and Internet of Lab Things market. With a good pipeline of opportunities, I feel confident that DeepMatter can create significant shareholder value."

Shares in DeepMatter - which was known as Cronin Group PLC until May - were 2.6% higher at 3.70 pence on Monday.
