LONDON (Alliance News) - Cyber security firm Corero Network Security PLC said Tuesday it had secured its first revenue generating order through its Juniper Networks resale partnership.
Through the partnership an unnamed "global hosting provider customer" has handed an order to use a combination of the MX Series router from Juniper with the SmartWall software of Corero. This followed a successful trial by the customer.
The software will help protecting the business from a distributed denial of service attack.
No financial details for the deal were provided.
"We are excited to have secured our first Juniper resale deal which reinforces the commercial validation of our joint value proposition," Corero Chief Executive Officer Ashley Stephenson said. "I look forward to announcing additional customer wins as we seek to capitalise on the growing pipeline of opportunities and customer trials."
Shares in Corero were untraded at 8.25 pence on Tuesday.
