Checkit Secures Operations Management Software Contract From BP

Thu, 31st Oct 2019 14:05

(Alliance News) - Software company Checkit PLC on Thursday said it will provide its real time operations management platform to BP International Ltd, part of BP PLC, at over 320 company owned locations in the UK for an initial period of three years.

No financial details of the contract were disclosed.

The Cambridge-based company also said that it remains in talks with BP to roll out the software platform across the UK dealer-owned estate and a number of countries outside the UK including the Netherlands.

Checkit's operations management platform helps business to monitor their mobile teams, processes and buildings.

Checkit Chair Keith Daley said: "We have been working with BP for some time and are delighted that our capabilities have been recognised by one of the world's biggest energy companies. It is encouraging that Checkit has added such a well-known global enterprise to its portfolio. We believe this both validates the Checkit technology and also helps underpin its future growth."

Checkit shares were down 1.2% at 55.31 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
