CentralNic Hires Boohoo Director Mcdonald As Chair, Turner Steps Down

(Alliance News) - CentralNic Group PLC on Monday said it appointed of Non-Executive Director Iain McDonald as non-executive chair, taking over from Mike Turner with immediate effect.

The internet services company said that Mike Turner would stay on the company's board as a non-executive director.

McDonald is also currently a non-executive director at e-commerce firm Hut Group and online fashion retailer Boohoo Group PLC. He founded Belerion Capital Group Ltd, an investor and investment advisor in technology and e-commerce companies.

CentralNic Chief Executive Ben Crawford said: "Iain's in-depth understanding of the technology and e-commerce sectors, the businesses within them and their value will be instrumental to us as we seek further expansion, both organic and through acquisition. At the same time, we are delighted to retain the skills and experience of Mike Turner on our board."

Shares in CentralNic were up 12% at 66.30 pence on Monday in London.
