CentralNic Chief Operating Officer Alexander Oskar To Join Board

Tue, 30th Jul 2019 15:44

(Alliance News) - Internet domain seller CentralNic Group PLC said Tuesday that Chief Operating Officer Alexander Oskar has been appointed to the company's board with immediate effect.

Oskar was the founder of KeyDrive, which was bought by CentralNic in a reverse takeover last year, at which point he became COO at CentralNic. He also serves as managing partner of inter.services GmbH, a holding and investment company, which is the largest shareholder in CentralNic, holding just below a 20% stake.

"I take great pleasure in welcoming Alex to the board of CentralNic, who, as our largest shareholder and COO, is clearly committed to the success of the Company. A recognised pioneer and leader in the domain name industry, Alex's more than two decades of experience have brought significant value to CentralNic's management team over the past year, and will prove invaluable to the board," said CentralNic Chief Executive Officer Ben Crawford.

Shares in CentralNic were down 1.7% on Tuesday in London at 58 pence.
