** Goldman Sachs upgrade to "buy" from "neutral" cited asmain driver behind Barratt's rise.

** Goldman's analyst has a 4-star StarMine ranking onrecommendations on the stock.

** Trading volumes remain light though running slightlyahead of average volumes seen across the FTSE constituents on aquiet day.

** StarMine SmartEstimate forecasts 42.2 percent growth inearnings over next 12 month for Barratt Developments, betterthan peer Persimmon but below Taylor Wimpey.
