HOUSTON, May 29 (Reuters) - BP Plc expects to startan upgraded crude distillation unit at its 405,000 barrel perday (bpd) Whiting, Indiana, refinery in late June, sourcesfamiliar with refinery operations said on Wednesday.
The refinery had planned to bring the unit up in late May,but problems found on motors and pumps among other parts of theCDU has forced the delay, the sources said.
A BP spokesman was not immediately available to discussrefinery operations. (Reporting by Erwin Seba)
