Tue, 02nd Apr 2019 12:51

LONDON (Alliance News) - Bluejay Mining PLC said Tuesday it expects the results of resource calculations for three expansion areas in Greenland to be completed within the next couple of months.

Bluejay explained its Iterlak West and Iterlak East resource calculation should be announced by mining consultants SRK Exploration in April. Currently, Interlak East has a current inferred mineral resource of seven million tonnes at 12.2% ilmenite - a titanium ore - whilst Iterlak West has an inferred mineral resource of one million tonnes at 6.2% ilmenite.

At its Offshore Shallow Marine project, results from RSC Consulting is expected to deliver results in May.

"The initial resource at Dundas already stands at 101 million tonnes," Bluejay Chief Executive Officer Roderick McIllree said. "We look forward with confidence to the outcomes for these three additional resource updates being conducted by SRK and RSC, and reinforcing the wider Dundas project fundamentals."

Shares in Bluejay were 5.3% higher at 9.50 pence on Tuesday.
