Yourgene Health PLC - Manchester, England-headquartered molecular diagnostics firm - Partners with Newcastle Premier Health Ltd to supply Covid-19 PCR testing services to Leeds Bradford Airport from Yourgene's laboratory in Manchester. Says the two companies will be offering Test To Release tests for arriving international travellers as part of the Test to Release for International Travel scheme. Also providing Fit to Fly test certificates for departing passengers and general PCR coronavirus testing for the public that live in the surrounding region. Notes Newcastle Premier Health has implemented a similar testing service at Newcastle Airport, which it says was successful.
"While the timing of any lockdown relaxations and increases in passenger traffic are unclear at present, we are primed for when these restrictions are lifted at Leeds Bradford and other travel hubs around the country," says Chief Executive Lyn Rees.
Additionally, Intuitive Investments Group PLC, closed-end investment company focused on the life sciences sector, announces an investment of GBP248,765 to acquire 1.6 million Yourgene shares at an average price of 15.70 pence per share. Intuitive Investments began trading on AIM back in December.
