Value & Income Trust PLC - UK-focused investment trust - Appoints one of its founders and previous board member until April 2019, Matthew Oakeshott, to its board as a non-executive director. Oakeshott joins Value & Income with immediate effect and is currently chair of OLIM Property Ltd, which manages the trust's portfolio. He holds 11.1 million shares in the company, representing a 24% stake. Value & Income also planning strategic review of its investment policy, with Oakeshott's appointment part of that review. Declares first quarter dividend of 2.9 pence per share for financial year endeding March 2021, intends to maintain this level for second and third quarter dividends. Will distribute part of capital reserves, amounting to 154.4p per share, if necessary.
