(Alliance News) - UAE Oil Services PLC on Tuesday said it hired Amna Hasan AlHammadi and Khalifa Hasan AlHammadi as non-executive directors, effective immediately.
The oil & gas services provider also said Director Stephen Smedley stepped down from the board.
"On behalf of the board, I would like to thank Stephen for his services he has provided to UAE Oil Services the past two years and wish every success for his business in the future," said Executive Chair Nils Trulsvik
Newly-hired Amna Hasan is currently a non-executive board member at water bottling and processing company Gulfa Mineral Water & Processing Industries Co PLC. She holds a 49% stake in Dana Middle East Investments LLC, a company that is incorporated in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and engaged in industrial development projects as well as private fund assets, UAE Oil said.
Khalifa is currently chief executive of Dubai-based real estate development company Union Properties PJSC. He is also chair at Blue Stone Jordan Investments PSC.
Amna Hasan and Khalifa Hammadi each own 35% of the outstanding shares in UAE Oil Services.
UAE Oil shares remain suspended, last quoted at 550.00 pence each.
