(Alliance News) - Surgical Innovations Group PLC on Monday announced its subsidiary Elemental Healthcare Ltd has signed an additional three-year agreement with Microline Surgical Inc for the distribution of Microline's instruments in the UK.
Based near Boston in the US, Microline designs, manufactures and distributes high quality instruments aimed at the minimally invasive surgery market.
The Leeds, England-based surgery device manufacturer said Elemental Healthcare has an established relationship with Microline, having recently signed a five-year US distribution agreement for its range of YelloPort+Plus and YelloPort Elite access devices.
"Microline is Elemental Healthcare's longest standing distribution partner as well as our largest, and shares the philosophy of sustainability in its products which will play such an important part in hospital decision-making in the years to come," said Surgical Innovations Development Director Adam Power.
Shares in Surgical Innovations were up 2.0% at 2.76 pence in London on Monday.
