(Alliance News) - The following is a round-up of London-listed company director and manager changes announced on Tuesday and not separately reported by Alliance News:

Kingfisher PLC - London-based DIY store chain - Hires Tony Buffin as non-executive director from December 1. Buffin is chief executive officer of health food stores chain Holland & Barrett and prior to that chief operating officer & chief financial officer of builders' merchant Travis Perkins PLC and CFO of Australian grocer Coles Group.

Stobart Group Ltd - aviation and energy infrastructure, including operating London Southend Airport - Hires Clive Condie as non-executive director. Condie is the former chair and interim CEO of London Luton Airport, having worked for British Airways and Manchester Airport

Mereo Biopharma Group PLC - London-based clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on oncology and rare diseases - Appoints John Lewicki as chief scientific officer and Ann Kapoun as senior vice president of Translational Research & Development. Both joined Mereo from OncoMed Pharmaceuticals following 2019 merger between the two companies, and both were involved in the development of Mereo's lead oncology product candidate, etigilimab.

Dukemount Capital PLC - London-based property management firm - Hires Matthew Thompson as chief executive. Notes Thompson has 17 years of private equity, family office, legal, energy and real estate experience.

Equals Group PLC - London-based e-banking and international payments - John Pearson steps down as non-executive chair at Tuesday's annual general meeting. Alan Hughes, who joined the board as a non-executive director in February, steps up to chair. Hughes is the former chief executive of UK challenger bank First Direct.

US Solar Fund PLC - investor in solar power assets in North America - Hires Thomas Plagemann as independent non-executive director, effective immediately. Plagemann is chief commercial officer and head of capital markets at Vivint Solar.

Uniphar PLC - Dublin-based healthcare services - Mark Moran to step down from board on September 1. Moran joined the board as a representative of the Sisk Family following the acquisition of Sisk Healthcare Group in 2018. Ger Penny, another Sisk Family representative, remains as non-executive director.

San Leon Energy PLC - oil explorer and producer focused on Nigeria - Mark Phillips steps down as non-executive director immediately, after four years on board. San Leon adds it is in the "latter stages of the appointment process" for a new nominated advisor to replace Cantor Fitzgerald Europe. Expects to appoint at least one new non-executive director at that time.

Oakley Capital Investments Ltd - investment vehicle providing access to the Oakley private equity funds - Craig Bodenstab resigns as independent non-executive director immediately due to "a significant and unplanned increase in his other commitments". Will appoint a replacement shortly.

European Metals Holdings Ltd - Cinovec lithium-tin project in Czech Republic - David Reeves resigns as non-executive chair, effective immediately, "to concentrate on his other business interests". Managing Director Keith Coughlan is named executive chair on an interim basis.

Malvern International PLC - London-based learning and skills development - Richard Mace appointed as chief executive officer following equity raise last week. Mace holds a 7.2% stake in Malvern. The company raised GBP1.3 million from the issue of 766.7 million shares, 69% of its enlarged capital. It also restructured existing debt with Boost & Co. Mace is the founder of Communicate English School Ltd, which operated a school in Manchester and was acquired by Malvern in 2018. Mace continued to run the school but had left Malvern this past March.

Wey Education PLC - London-based education services - Erica Pienaar retires as non-executive director, effective immediately, "to focus on her personal interests". Says will appoint new non-executive director in due course.

Walcom Group Ltd - China-focused animal feeds - Franky Wong and Albert Chi Chiu Wong to step down as independent non-executive directors from Wednesday. Walcom shares were suspended from trading on AIM last week after Allenby Capital Ltd resigned as nominated advisor and broker. Still awaiting payment of loan from Chief Executive Francis Chi.

Maintel Holdings PLC - London-based cloud and managed service provider - Kevin Stevens resigns as chief operating officer and Stuart Legg as sales director and leave company with immediate effect. No reason provided, but Maintel says the board is "keen to record" its thanks for their contributions to the business.
