LONDON (Alliance News) - SmartSpace Software PLC, a provider of workspace management software, said Tuesday that Spencer Dredge will move to chief operations officer from chief financial officer, as part of the company's plan to accelerate international growth.
The company has appointed Bruce Morrison as CFO to replace Dredge with immediate effect. Most recently, Morrison was group finance director at Bond International Software PLC.
Dredge will also step down from the main board of the company. In his new role as chief operations officer, he will continue to manage the final stage of the divestment of the Redstone business and will focus on the integration of business units, looking for operational efficiencies, as well as identifying and integrating new strategic acquisition opportunities.
SmartSpace also said that it has recruited Steven Rodriguez and Ben Kepes as advisers to help the company in expanding globally.
Rodriguez will support SmartSpace on developing its business in North America. Kepes is technology analyst, commentator, and consultant and is a globally-recognised subject matter expert in the areas of cloud computing, enterprise technology, and digital transformation.
Shares in the software company were trading 2.1% lower at 90.55 pence each on Tuesday afternoon.
