NEW YORK, May 20 (IFR) - The US investment-grade bond marketset the record on Wednesday for the busiest May ever seen.

Five borrowers raised US$4.675bn on the day, pushing May'stally to US$134.646bn - the largest amount ever issued in themonth since 2008, and the third busiest month of all time,according to IFR data.
